"Alternate driver taking her turn" Fall 1998

I normally travel with an Irish Wolfhound. This is Lacy
who was an avid traveler and off road enthusiast. She has
traveled coast to coast, into Canada several times as well
as back and fourth between the Canadian & Mexico borders.

Mud run 1995 camp ground. This is how how I set up
for rain camps before The Green Rover was converted to a
Dormobile.  I slept inside on the floor and the kitchen
is set up on the right side next to the built in propane
tank. I traveled three blue plastic totes (kitchen, clothing,
bedding) stored on the right rear side bench.  The table
with folding legs was stored on its side against the tots
to keep everything in place.  Along the left rear side
bench was a big ice chest at the rear, 2 burner Coleman stove
Coleman propane lantern in its travel box and a blue plastic
5 gallon water can.  The tarp is mounted over the roof
because it is quieter in the rain than drops falling directly
on the roof.  Note there were 15 inch white spoke wheels
under the Land Rover at the time.

drive to, about 280 feet below sea level. The white stuff
                    in the background is salt.
