Land Rover factory V8 prototype

1967 Series IIA Used as factory V8 test bed.  This is one of 3 series Land Rovers built to test the Buick V8 for suitability as a future Land Rover engine and the only survivor. The Buick V8 was mated to a IIA gearbox and 109 brakes were used.   This is years before the Stage I or Range Rover prototypes were built.
